Put it all together — plan, design, build, and share your own shape-based model!
Learn — read and understand
Step 1 — Choose your object
Think of a simple everyday object you want to build: a house, a car, a robot, a fruit, a bridge. Make sure it is made of basic shapes you know (circles, squares, triangles, rectangles)!
Step 2 — Sketch and label
Draw your object on paper. Label each part with its shape name. For example: "roof = triangle", "wall = rectangle", "window = square". This is your design plan!
Step 3 — Build your model
Use clay, cardboard, blocks, or any materials available. Follow your sketch. Start with the biggest part, then add the smaller parts. Take your time!
Step 4 — Present your work
When finished, show your model to the class. Say: what is it, what shapes did you use, what problem does it solve (or what do you like about it)?
