Roll, press, and shape clay to make real 3D models with your hands!

Why clay?
Clay is the perfect material for early model building. You can roll it into spheres, press it flat into discs, and shape it into cubes and cylinders — then start over if you make a mistake!
Basic clay techniques
Roll into a ball (sphere). Press flat with your palm (disc). Roll into a log (cylinder). Press into a box shape (cube). Pinch a top to a point (pyramid)!
Compare to the plan
After building, hold your clay model up to your sketch. Does the shape match? Are the sizes right? This is called "checking your prototype"!
